The harbour mouth (looking south from the Yarmouth side) hasn't changed much but the Breydon Bridge was demolished many years ago.

Above - by 1957, the riverside banks had been raised in some place.  Top left is Hall Quay.
Angling was a very popluar passtime, but seemingly far less so fifty years later

The new power station was built 1954/5 and soon became a dominent feature for miles around.  At 364 feet tall, the chimney was taller than  even Norwich Cathedral
